How long do you have to decide?

Requests for return are accepted within 30 days of the day your parcel is delivered — the delivery scan, not the order date, starts the clock. Past that window we can no longer take the piece back, though we remain glad to help with care questions at any age.

What condition must the piece be in?

Unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging. Cloth that has dressed a table for a dinner party or been through a wash cycle has begun its life with you and cannot return to the shelf. Unfolding a piece to look and feel is expected and entirely fine.

Who pays the return postage?

That depends on why the piece is coming back. If you have changed your mind — the color argued with the sofa, the size was misjudged — the return shipping cost is yours, and we suggest a tracked service since the piece remains your responsibility until it reaches us. If the return exists because of our error, every cost is ours. In neither case is there a restocking fee.

Is variation in the print a defect?

No, and we ask you to weigh this before ordering rather than after. Hand block printing produces small differences in tone and motif placement between pieces; it is the technique’s signature and is disclosed on the About, FAQ, and Size Guide pages. A return on these grounds is treated as a change of mind — welcome within the window, with return postage at your expense.

What if the piece arrives damaged, wrong, or faulty?

Tell us within 5 days of delivery, attaching photos of the piece and its packaging. A genuine fault — torn seam, wrong design, transit damage — is resolved at no cost to you: replacement from stock or a full refund, your choice. We will say clearly whether the damaged piece needs to come back; when it does, we send a prepaid label.

How does a return proceed, step by step?

Email hello@maisondeblocs.com with your order number and reason. We review requests within 2 business days and reply with the return address and instructions — please wait for that reply, as unannounced parcels are difficult to match to orders. Pack the piece securely, send it, and keep your postage receipt until the refund lands.

When and where does the refund arrive?

Within 5-7 business days of your return arriving and passing inspection, issued to the original payment method. Card processors occasionally add a short delay of their own before the credit shows on a statement; if the wait grows past reason, write to us and we will send the refund reference so your bank can locate it.
